Fruit teas are tasty and refreshing options. Lykkers, you can share these delicious drinks with your family and guests.
The basic fruit iced tea recipe yields two 1-gallon jugs, ideal for family gatherings or tailgating. Both the pineapple tea and orange mint tea recipes can be easily adjusted for larger groups.

How to make fruit tea?

Ingredients
• 18 to 24 tea bags
• 1 1/2 quarts boiling water
• 2 cups granulated sugar
• 48 ounces of canned pineapple juice
• 12 ounces of canned frozen orange juice concentrate
• 12 ounces of canned frozen lemonade concentrate
• Lemon, for garnish, optional
• Mint leaves, for garnish, optional
Steps to Make It
1. Gather the ingredients.
2. Put 18 to 24 tea bags in a bowl or pitcher. Pour 1 1/2 quarts of boiling water over the tea bags.
3. Add 2 cups of sugar and stir until dissolved. Let the tea bags steep in the sugary water for several hours or overnight.
4. Squeeze the tea bags to extract extra flavor before discarding them.
5. Pour the tea into a large bowl or pot. Then, add cans of pineapple juice, frozen orange juice, and lemonade.
6. Stir until the concentrate has completely thawed and mixed well with the tea.
7. Pour equal amounts into two 1-gallon jugs.
8. Add cold water to each jug to fill them up, then refrigerate until thoroughly chilled, at least 2 hours. Shake well before serving, and garnish as desired.

Tips

This recipe yields 2 gallons of fruit tea. If you prefer a smaller batch or lack enough space or large containers, simply halve the recipe to make 1 gallon.
For a less sweet tea, you can initially use half the amount of sugar. Adjust sweetness to taste after mixing in the pineapple juice, frozen concentrates, and water. Ensure the sugar is fully dissolved by stirring thoroughly.
