Welcome, Lykkers! I used to think shampoo was just... shampoo. As long as my hair felt clean afterward, I didn't really pay much attention to what bottle I was using. But after dealing with flat roots, occasional hair fall, and days when my scalp felt less than happy, I started realizing that a good shampoo can completely change how my hair looks and feels.
These are two shampoos that have been getting a lot of love in my shower lately.
1. Moist Diane Extra Volume & Scalp Shampoo
This is the shampoo I reach for when my hair is having one of those lifeless days. You know when your roots seem to fall flat five minutes after drying your hair? That's exactly why I started using this one. The first thing I noticed was how fresh and clean my scalp felt after washing. Not the squeaky-clean feeling that leaves your hair stripped, but the kind that makes your scalp feel refreshed and comfortable.
What I enjoy most is the extra lift it gives my roots. My hair looks a little fuller and less weighed down, which is always a win for someone whose hair tends to lose volume quickly. Every time I use it, my hair feels lighter and easier to style the next day.
2. Kelaya Hair Treatment Shampoo
This one entered my routine during a period when I was paying extra attention to hair health. The texture feels nourishing, and I love how gentle it feels on my scalp. Some shampoos make me feel like they're aggressively cleaning everything away, but this one feels much more balanced.
Whenever my hair feels dry, stressed, or just not at its best, this is usually the shampoo I reach for. One thing I appreciate is that my hair feels soft after washing without feeling heavy. It gives me that freshly washed feeling while still leaving my hair manageable and comfortable.
I've learned that hair wash day can feel completely different depending on the shampoo I'm using. Moist Diane gives me that fresh, airy feeling that makes my hair look more alive, while Kelaya feels like a reset button whenever my hair needs a little extra love. I still enjoy trying new hair products, but these are the kinds of shampoos that make me hesitate before replacing them.
