Three Blushes I Reach For

Blush is one of those products that can completely change how my makeup looks with very little effort.
Some days I want a warm, almost sun-kissed flush, while on others I prefer something cooler and fresher. These are three formulas I reach for depending on the effect I want.

Charlotte Tilbury Pillow Talk Matte Beauty Blush Wand

The first Charlotte Tilbury blush gives me the warmest look of the three. The peachy-coral colour instantly makes my complexion look brighter, and I especially like it when I am wearing minimal eye makeup and want my cheeks to do more of the work.
Despite the word “matte” in the name, I do not find the finish flat. It still looks soft and natural on my skin, especially when I blend it quickly with a brush or fingertips. The formula is quite pigmented, so I prefer starting with a tiny amount and adding more only where I need it.

NARS The Multiple

The NARS stick gives me a completely different result. Its cool pink tone has a slightly luminous finish that catches the light without looking glittery, which makes it ideal when I want my skin to appear fresher and more awake.
I also love the convenience of the stick format. I can swipe a little directly onto my cheeks and blend it out in seconds. Compared with the Charlotte Tilbury formula, this one looks softer and more effortless on me, with that creamy “healthy skin” effect I often want for daytime makeup.

The second Charlotte Tilbury shade is softer and more muted than the first. It has a dusty rose quality that feels especially easy to wear because it adds colour without immediately becoming the focus of my makeup.
I like this one when I want a polished, romantic flush rather than something bright. The creamy liquid texture blends smoothly, and once it settles, the colour looks even and refined. It is also the shade I would choose when I am wearing a stronger lip or eye look.
All three give me something different: the coral Charlotte Tilbury for warmth, NARS for a luminous fresh pink, and the muted Charlotte Tilbury for a softer everyday flush. Having different textures and tones makes choosing blush feel much more about mood than following one fixed routine.
