Concealers I’d Reach For

Concealer is one of those makeup products I use completely differently depending on the day. Sometimes I only want to brighten the under-eye area, while other mornings I need something with enough coverage to handle redness, blemishes and anything my foundation did not quite hide.
These six formulas all give me a slightly different option.

For A Fresh, Hydrated Look

NYX Bare With Me Concealer Serum is exactly the type of product I’d choose for relaxed everyday makeup. I prefer serum-style concealers when I want the skin to look natural rather than heavily perfected. I’d use a small amount beneath the eyes and around the nose, then blend it out with my fingertips or a damp sponge.
Beside it, L’Oréal True Match Radiant Serum Concealer feels like another good option when brightness is the priority. The formula highlights 1.5% hyaluronic acid and caffeine, so I’d mainly reach for it around the eye area. I like concealers that make this part of the face look fresher without forcing me to apply a thick layer.

When I Want More Coverage

L’Oréal Infallible More Than Concealer is the one I’d save for days when I actually need stronger coverage. I would use it sparingly because fuller-coverage formulas usually look best when they are concentrated only where necessary. A tiny amount on blemishes, redness or darker areas would be enough for me.
Catrice True Skin High Cover Concealer also sits firmly in the more polished category. It is labelled as hydrating and waterproof, which makes it interesting when I want coverage that still feels suitable for longer wear. I’d blend it quickly and build it only where I need more opacity rather than covering the entire under-eye area in a thick layer.

For An Easy Everyday Base

NOTE New Era Skin Protecting Concealer feels like the kind of straightforward formula I could keep in my everyday makeup bag. I’d use it for light correction around the centre of the face and underneath the eyes, especially on mornings when I want to skip foundation altogether.
The e.l.f. concealer next to it would play a similar role for me. I love having one uncomplicated concealer that I can dot onto small areas, blend out quickly and move on. For casual makeup, that is often all I actually need.

What I’d Choose

For a lighter, fresher finish, I’d start with the NYX or L’Oréal serum formulas. When I need more coverage, I’d switch to L’Oréal Infallible or Catrice. NOTE and e.l.f. feel like the practical middle ground — easy options for those everyday makeup days when I simply want my skin to look a little more even and rested.
